Hee hee hee... this guy is from one of my faaaavorite movies (Master and Commander). I just watched A Beautiful Mind again last night, so had extra motivation :D The photo I drew this from was extremely poor quality, so most of the shading and details are.. umm... added in. I was able to get the general facial features from it, and fuzzy areas of shading. Overall I'm happy with it, though tomorrow or the next day I'll probably realize all the dumb mistakes :faint: . As it is I sketched it about a month or two ago and finished it today. 6+ hours of work... easily my best and most accurate portrait.

Excellent portrait, I love the fact that you've added in the hair of the beard, instead of being lazy like I am most of the time and just shading ;). This is brilliant.
