Contest Entry for Echoras

My contest entry for 's contest to design her character Rosalla's lost love.

When I read the story she had for them, I imagined him as a darker horse, who was bigger than Rosalla, and lean. I know she's part Bacabello, but I didn't see him as being a Bacabello... of course, this is just my idea of him He's kind of a dark palomino or something of that sort, but he's got slight dappling as well. His eyes are greenish brown Rosalla brings life with her when she's in a good mood, so I thought green was a fitting color for his eyes - besides, green and brown together is nice ^^ The background is very... um, bright ^^ I figured because Rosalla's in a good mood when she's with him

I didn't name him, didn't know if I should or shouldn't... but if doesn't choose him, I will gladly hold onto him I drew him with Rosalla (hope I got the markings right!) - but only a part of her, I wanted to include her, but he is the main focus of the picture

Also, this is a really bad scan I tried several times to get a better one... maybe tomorrow if it's nice outside I can get a good photo.
